I sit and reflect some of the dumb decisions that I have made over the years. Yeah, I know you probably have too. Any more all I do is think. I made a huge decision recently that is probably the best one, ever! With my dad’s failing health and my ability to stay home, I quit my job and moved back in with my parents to help with his care. Crazy, right? No. My days run together, I have no clue of the actual date, I’m thinking it’s bedtime at 7 o’clock every night and I think it should be the weekend by Wednesday. Yet, I wouldn’t have it any other way. I get to see him in the morning and I am able to tell him that I love him every night. This decision wasn’t that hard. The hard part was leaving a job I loved, (I love my dad more) co-workers that became life long friends and people who became a part of my every day life. Another one of those moments that I took for granted! What I really want you to take from this little babbling rant is…your parent gave you life, nurtured you, if you have the opportunity to be with them in the end, DO IT! It might get boring, but you will not regret that decision. Help out in any way. But be there! It may be the best decision of your life.
